A retro terminal hacking sim where every command pulls you deeper into SYS-X.

GHOST OS is a fictional DOS/CRT-style hacking simulation game played entirely through a neon-green desktop interface. You are GHOST, a novice hacker inside the clandestine operating system SYS-X. Accept contracts, connect to fictional hosts, scan services, crack simulated systems, collect intel, manage TRACE heat, and uncover the NIGHTFALL mystery through encrypted x-mail threads.

This is not a real hacking tool. All commands, IPs, passwords, exploits, networks, files, and systems are fictional and only exist inside the game.

How to Play

Start on the boot screen, complete the tutorial, open Contracts, accept your first mission, then use the Terminal to connect, scan, browse files, collect intel, and submit contracts.

Useful beginner commands:

help connect 10.0.0.1 ls cd etc cat hosts.conf missions next submit 

Use F1 for help, F9 for Contracts, and type next anytime for a hint.
